Featured on Premier's "The High Ground" Podcast: Janzen Schroeder Ag Law, Administrative Law, & Strange Sights
/Ag issues and strange sights were just a few of the topics discussed when Todd Janzen and Brianna Schroeder recently appeared on the “The High Ground” Podcast. This podcast, powered by Premier Companies, discusses everything from agriculture to energy, with a good dose of entertainment as well for its thousands of subscribers.
Todd and Brianna joined the podcast to discuss issues facing agriculture from a legal perspective. Their firm started a decade ago, determined to fill the underserved area of ag law to give farmers counsel that truly understands production agriculture. For example, the attorneys shared how most people are disconnected from farming, which can leads to misconceptions about “how it should be done” and complications in the countryside.
Janzen Schroeder Ag Law is based in Indianapolis, yet the team works all across Indiana and the Midwest. “Many local lawyers don’t have the ag experience or don’t want to be involved in ag issues,” Brianna shared, noting that the firm “loves the hot potatoes” of cases that other lawyers might avoid.
The lively conversation include questions from hosts Sal Sama and Jeff Jarrett, asking about the firm’s biggest legal victories - and the strangest thing they have seen (in or outside the courtroom). Janzen Schroeder Ag Law works with farmers, agribusiness and ag tech companies to help advance agriculture with their ability to speak both ag and law.
