CFO "Moratorium" Lifted in Delaware County

Our post on March 21 explained that the Delaware County Commissioners had imposed a "hold" on all building permits for confined feeding operations (CFOs).  

We recently learned that his hold has been lifted, meaning CFO building permits are again being issued for Delaware County.

The Muncie Star Press is reporting that the Delaware County Commissioners have decided to put a "hold" on any county issued building permits.  This action was taken in response to a pork producer's request to build a 10,000 hog farm north of Muncie.
