Schroeder Collaborates on SEER “Best Paper” Award

The American Bar Association’s Environment, Energy and Resources Section (SEER) recently held its Fall Conference in Washington DC and recognized outstanding industry work.  Brianna Schroeder was honored for “Best Paper” along with her co-author, Kevin Long, Senior Principal at Terraphase Engineering, Inc. The paper was entitled “PFAS in Biosolids: Balancing Beneficial Use & Risks via Science-Driven, Smart Management.”

It explained various state regulatory approaches to biosolids, covered different perspectives on the beneficial use of biosolids as fertilizer, and balanced the potential risks involved.

This recognition is especially meaningful considering the high standard of work at ABA SEER conferences.  The Team at Janzen Schroeder Ag Law is known for its expertise in environmental law work with biosolids, a topic especially relevant in regulatory and scientific discussions.
