Todd Janzen and Brianna Schroeder will celebrate Law Day with the Indiana State Bar and Indianapolis Bar Association on May 1 part of the Indy Bar’s inaugural celebration on May 1, 2025. Legal professionals from across the state are encouraged to join in on a powerful demonstration reaffirming their responsibility to defend the rule of law, judicial independence, and the independence of the legal profession. IndyBar encourages all lawyers and judges in the state to join together on May 1.

The collective presence sends a clear and powerful message of the state's legal professionals' unwavering commitment to the legal system. Law Day is a national day set aside to celebrate the rule of law. It was established as a day of national dedication to the principles of government under law by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1958.

Congress established May 1 as the official date to celebrate each year. Law Day provides an opportunity to understand how law and the legal process protect our liberty, strive to achieve justice, and contribute to the freedoms that all Americans share.
